In addition to being business minded Deb is also community minded. Currently Deb is the President of CMBABC. Previously, Deb was on the board for Vernon Winter Carnival for 10 years and was the Chairperson for 5 years. Deb has also been the Director and Secretary of the Funtastic Sports Society, helped establish Carrol-ing For a Cause, has volunteered at the Knox Mountain Hill Climb for 27 years, has been on the board of directors for the Mortgage Broker’s Association of British Columbia and most recently supported Teens Count Too.
Deb and her husband Doug have 4 children and 7 grandchildren. When not working or volunteering Deb can be found spending time with her family and friends. In her spare time she enjoys camping, motor biking, sewing and running.
